Welcome to the Cardiovascular Epidemiology and Genetics (CVEG) Research Lab at the Cyprus University of Technology. Under the leadership of Associate Professor Andrie G. Panayiotou, our lab promotes research on cardiometabolic health, biomarkers of cardiovascular disease (CVD), and population-based prevention, bridging epidemiology, genetic and lifestyle determinants, with the outmost goal of promoting cardiovascular through a systems-based approach.
We are part of the School of Health Sciences at the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences and member of the Public Health Research Unit (CII).
