Individual <br \/>arterial stiffness was measured as carotid-femoral pulse wave velocity (cfPWV), <br \/>with arterial age being additionally estimated, using plethysmography. Further <br \/>individual-level data includes self-reported information on quality of life (SF-12), <br \/>physical activity (IPAQ), adherence to the Mediterranean diet (MedDiet Score) <br \/>and general health and well-being (GHQ-12). Area-level characteristics and social <br \/>gradient were assessed using both census-based composite indices addressing <br \/>\u2018\u2018socioeconomic disadvantage\u2019\u2019 (SED) and \u201cdemographic and built <br \/>environment\u2019\u2019(DBE), as well as self-reported assessments of participant\u2019s <br \/>neighborhoods using the Place Standard Tool (PST) addressing area-level <br \/>dimensions such as mobility, public spaces, and social connections. Statistical <br \/>analysis included mixed methods with both quantitative statistics (multiple <br \/>adjusted regression models) and qualitative thematic analysis of the participant\u2019s <br \/>open comments in the PST.
